Spooky Witch - Sizzix Handmade Card

Hi crafty friends! Welcome back to my happy place! I hope you're having a wonderful and creative day.

With Halloween almost here I felt that it was time for me to play again with my Halloween dies from Sizzix UK and this is my fourth and final card.

For today's project I used the Sizzix Thinlits Die - Moonlit Owl designed by the one and only Tim Holtz and the Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 8PK - Spooky designed by the amazing Pete Hughes (I love his designs!!).

First I prepared a white panel and I ink blended Tumbled Glass, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress Inks to get a spooky night sky. Next I die cut a circle using the Sizzix Framelits Die Set 8PK - Circles and created a moon by ink blending Fossilized Amber and Spiced Marmalade Distress Inks. I glued the moon to the panel and I cut a hill from black cardstock, completing my background. I mounted it to the panel. Then I die cut the "Moonlit Owl" from black cardstock and glued it onto the moon.

Next, I die cut all the parts for the witch using scraps from my stash and glued everything obtaining an adorable spooky little witch and her broom. I mounted it onto the panel, I added a sentiment from a Halloween paper collection and my card was done.

There is a new event at the Sizzix blog called Be Inspired Autumn! and they have also created some gorgeous FREE PAPER DESIGNS (you need to enter your email address) which can be downloaded and printed to use on some beautiful fall projects.
